| Everyday of our lives requires that we grow in order to reach our full potential. At times the change is subtle and we hardly recognize it until months or years down the road, at other times it is abrupt. With the death of a loved one or the birth of a new soul, these changes are more or less expected albeit the timing can confuse us, these changes are inevitable. An impending divorce though, leaves dangling threads and these threads appear as one last chance to change something, get back what we had. Knowing when to hold on to something and when to let go requires our innermost self to examine with utmost honesty not only whether we really want it but most important whether we really need it. Life is about individual growth and sometimes that growth is in two different directions, even with people who have grown together to a point before. The pain of a divorce can be debilitating to some. Butters and Charlie have decided on a divorce, it breaks our hearts as we love Butters like one of our own. But, life goes on and we are proud of Charlie for the leaps and bounds that he has taken toward a positive life since they separated several months ago. We also wish Butters all the best and know in our hearts that she is continuing further. They have both gotten each other to a pivotal point through their years of marriage. The time they grew together is and always will be, important. Charlie has put all of his energy into building the kinda of life he wants now, he has a plan, a wonderful job and a beutiful home in the country on 17 acres. He is beating the struggle of knowing what he wants and needs as opposed to what he needs to give. Charlie is all but 22 years old and has just recently become divorced but his maturity in this time has astounded us. We expect, of course, great things for him. Charlie moved with his brother Jason and wife Charlotte to Mount Pleasant Texas. He has developed a great relationship with his nephew Little-man whom he even baby-sits from time to time (short periods) and feeds. With Me and Anthony only ten minutes away, we all are enjoying each other, the long separations, due to time and distance are no longer hurdles. |
